Summer's here and it’s time to dive into a season of adventure! 
We are thrilled to share several local programs designed to keep your students active, curious, and healthy all summer long. Whether your child wants to "unearth a story" at the library, conquer outdoor challenges, or build independence through child-led projects, there is something for every explorer in our community.
The Let Grow Summer Experience is a program designed to foster independence and confidence in students by encouraging child-led summer projects and exploration. The overall goal is to empower children to "sail solo" and build life skills by taking the lead on their own summer adventures. See the Let Grow Summer Experience attachment.
The Play On Adventure Quest is a "screen-smart" movement in Utah designed to encourage healthy, adventurous lifestyles by helping children "conquer the screen-time monster". Lanyards were given to each student at school.
The Utah's Every Kid Outdoors (EKO) Adventure Challenge is a free program designed to encourage families and youth (ages 3-18) to explore the outdoors through 14 structured challenges. These challenges are intended to be safe, educational, and fun, fostering a lifelong passion for nature.
The Spanish Fork Library "Unearth a Story" summer reading program encourages families to continue reading all summer long with fun adventures and prizes. See the attached June 2026 Brochure for storytimes, family workshops, and community and family events.
The Free Summer Meals program, provided by the Utah Food Bank, offers fresh and free meals to all youth aged 18 and under during the summer break. See the attached Spanish Fork flier.
Mrs. Prescott's Summer Reading Challenge instructions for Sora.
